The villa
A truly spacious and magnificent villa in its own tree lined and decorated grounds of 1 acre, close to the village of Mazan at the foot of Mount Ventoux, some 2.6 miles from Carpentras with all the facilities of a French provincial town, and around 20 minutes from the very popular old walled town of Avignon (not to mention its 'pont'!). The villa is privately enclosed amongst open garden and a range of pine, cherry, prune, and olive trees. This villa can take up to 16 people, very comfortably.
The pool and the garden
The swimming pool is 12 x 5 metres in a beautiful spot surrounded by pine trees offering plenty of shade. It has its own shower and has an automatique maintenance system. Lights up at night to give you some special evenings. The pool has an alarm system for safety.
Table tennis, swings, football goal, petanque area. There is plenty of ground so don't worry about stepping on each others' toes!
Rolling doors to a large terrace with huge parasols, deck chairs, sun lounges, etc etc. beautiful brick barbecue plus a pizza oven!! (Wood supplied and cut for both.) Exterior lighting.
The interior
Country style kitchen fully equipped with oven, hot plates, 2 x micro waves, dishwasher, two fridges, big freezer, chip fryer.

4 double bedrooms with balconies, large double beds (6' 4 x 5'), all with private shower room and toilet.
2 triple bedrooms also with its own shower and toilet.

The villa is also equipped with telephone (buy cards locally for outgoing calls), hence Ok for internetters needing to keep up, plus information on local attractions.
Other equipment: washing machine, stereo, 2 baby beds and high chairs.
Close by
Mazan is a proper town of 4500 inhabitants, with the old town protected by its circled wall of buildings dating from the 14th century. The old "portes" give entrance into a lot of narrow streets, with ancient houses, churches and fountains.
There are 2 supermarkets: le Casino and le Coccinelle : open every day from 8 h 30 till 19 h 00 and Sunday from 8 h 30 till 12 h 00
